The hats I wear are: published travel writer, MFA in Writing student at University of San Francisco, reporter for Petaluma Patch, and blogger on the writing life--encouraging all creative souls to put the pens and pencils to paper. Oh, and I have a day job that has nothing to do with any of this but I hope someday will!

I write non-fiction. Sometimes that's reports and articles for my church where I volunteered to be council president! Nearly a full time job for gal who is supposed to be retired. I've just published my second book: Living with the Stranger in Me: An Exploration of Aging. This first week I've sold 32 copies on my own. For sale also on Amazon.com

Ever felt stifled in life? Are you true to yourself?
Creating your own transition recipe to find new ways. Hard work and faith, flexibility, thought and doing what is soothing and exciting for your soul.
Put fear aside and jump into the Wild Air.Taste the Wild Air.Breath the Wild Air. Drink the Wild Air. The road of transition is one of the hardest and wearing many different hats is essential to succeed.Wake up and follow me...

I'm a novelist (PETROPLAGUE, a science thriller about oil-eating bacteria contaminating the fuel supply of Los Angeles and paralyzing the city), and also a critic (I review science & medical thrillers at my website ScienceThrillers.com), an educator (formerly microbiology professor at CSU), and a mom. I enjoy science, science in fiction, and the California Writers Club. I love my "jobs"!
