My immigrant story is more like my return to my grandparents' country, Norway last spring to meet about 30 relatives I didn't know I had. That experience returned me to my own U.S. roots where, growing up among my grandparents' many relatives always meant acceptance, good food, and loving Jesus folks who sang hymns with gusto. I'd lost them when i married into a totally different klan, but now I am back. Family, even if they have all passed onto spirit, is the base. Good luck T. This should be wonderful.
