My current project is a memoir I'm writing for an inspiring father of five and quadruple amputee, Scott Martin. Scott and I have teamed up to try to bring his story to life in a full-length book. It's been the most amazing experience thus far and I can't wait for it to continue. Unfortunately, we're at that crucial point of relative inactivity, waiting to hear back from agents and publishers we queried. We're hoping to have a short story published in the upcoming work, Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Power of Positive (expected publication Oct 2012). To learn about Scott, how he contracted a rare case of the flesh-eating disease at 35, lost both his hands and portions of each foot, and spent nearly a month in a medically-induced coma, only to come out of it and fight his way through the rebuilding process, eventually becoming the father of five amazing, adopted children, check out our webpage at http://www.movingforwardinreverse.us.
