A tree that didn't give up

Dear Writers,

My husband and I were in Forestville, CA this past weekend. We came upon this tree–the trunk was hollow; two of the three major limbs were broken; one limb survived, bearing fruit. What a magnificent sight to behold.  A tree that didn’t give up.

That tree is a metaphor for our endeavors.  Keep writing. The publishing arena is fiercely competitive. If your dream is to be happily published, then, keep writing and rewriting.
