<h1>NBCC Awards Submission Process and Contact List for 2011 Books</h1>
<p>Each year the National Book Critics Circle selects awards in six  categories: Fiction, General Nonfiction, Biography, Autobiography,  Poetry, and Criticism. Members of the Board of Directors nominate books.  Each book that is championed by a board member is placed on a master  list, from which the finalists (and ultimately the winners) are  selected. Several times during the year I will request that you send  copies of the books on the master list to the entire board for group  discussion.</p>
<p>The absolute deadline for the 2011 awards is December 1, 2011.</p>
