Today, Nan and I boarded Bus #86 at the stop called “Porte de Vincennes” in the 20e arrondissement, to travel in the direction of “Champs de Mar” (near The Eiffel Tower / La Tour Eiffel). We rode 20 stops (approximately 32 minutes); then off-boarded at “Saint-Germain – Odéon”.

By the way… I always pay attention to the two stops before the stop I want. Why? Because… if no passenger has pushed the button to signal to the driver that he/she wants the next stop, and, if the driver doesn’t see any person standing at the next bus stop… the driver can pass that stop to save time.

The two stops before ”Saint-Germain – Odéon” are “Collège de France” and “Cluny”

Bonjour, everyone!

I wish you vibrant health, love and laughter always.

In spite of having tested positive on a COVID home test on September 24 and September 29, 2026… and hearing sirens in lively City of Light… and hearing jackhammering this morning…and the constant noise of cars, trams, more sirens … my heart dances.  Bonjour gut health!

Merci beaucoup,  chère MT, for having given me 5 COVID home test kits.

Merci beaucoup,  chère NN, for getting food for me and for inspiring me to leave Madame F’s appartement (lovely as it is) to get exercise, to walk and gawk in Paris.

Merci beaucoup, to all the dear hearts who wish me wellness.  I am most grateful to everyone.
