Dear Professor Sheryl Fairchild and all the Beautiful Students in Professor Fairchild’s Psychology of Women class,
I am still speechless from the warm welcome you gave me on November 4, 2013. Your questions about the themes in my mother-daughter novel Love Made of Heart and your sharing of personal experiences touched me deeply.
My wish for you is hat you will always let “the-wise-one-within” embrace “the-child-within.” You are all beautiful; the world is in good hands.
If you would like to write a short book review and focus on a theme in Love Made of Heart, please click here. I so appreciate your comments. I thank you all.
With deepest gratitude,
Teresa LeYung-Ryan

“Through Facebook, I connected with fellow Cat Writers Association (CWA) member Celeste Yarnall that led me to be a producer for FEMME: Women Healing the World after she introduced me to director Emmanuel Itier. Sharon Stone is the executive producer for FEMME, a celebration of women around the world actively transforming and healing our global society. In the inspiring documentary, Sharon Stone and leading experts in religion, science, history, politics and entertainment, discuss solutions to the multiple crises we are faced with. Suzanne Corson Always Caring About Community – Swim a Mile for Women with Cancer
http://www.wcrc.org/swim/

Suzanne says:
” The Women’s Cancer Resource Center in Oakland, California, is an important, life-affirming, and supportive organization for women with cancer and their friends and families. I’m very happy to be participating in my fifth Swim-a-Mile to raise funds for their important work.
WCRC can certainly use our support to help them continue to provide the services (and yes, support) they do for women facing serious health challenges.
My swim honors my friends, family, friends of family (and family of friends!) — way too many of them, unfortunately — who have faced cancer, as well as those who provide care, support, and resources to people with cancer. If you’d like me to add the name of someone you’d like to honor to the Honor Wall at the swim, I’d be happy to do so.
All contributions are tax deductible; if your workplace matches charitable contributions, please forward me the necessary paperwork to match your gift and I’ll send it on to the staff at WCRC.
Thank you for helping me to help WCRC by sponsoring my swim! ”
